Effective 3 July 2026. The short version: it's a free puzzle site — play nicely and enjoy it.

The service

Zaney Sudoku provides free, browser-based killer sudoku puzzles and related guides. The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We aim for the site to be available and correct, but don't guarantee uninterrupted access or that it will be error-free.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at abusive volumes, misrepresent it as your own, or use it for anything unlawful. Automated access for personal, reasonable use (like archiving a puzzle you solved) is fine.

Content and ownership

The site's design, text, guides and code are ours. Puzzle grids themselves are mathematical objects — you're welcome to print, share and republish individual puzzles for personal and educational use with a link back to the site.

Your data

Game progress and stats are stored in your own browser; we operate no player database. Advertising and its associated data are covered in the privacy policy. Backup codes you generate are your responsibility — anyone with the code can import your stats.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales, which governs these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept them.
